Highlights from Pastor Jerry’s Message on June 29, 2025

The greatest question, “What on earth am I here for?”  The answer is, JESUS!  We are getting ready for the rest of our lives – learning why we are here.

Over the past few months, I have been blessed to help Pastor John and Pastor Richard with their studies.  What has kept them going is God’s call for them?

2 Timothy 2:15 says, Study to show yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (NKJV)

Personally speaking, once I realized I was to become a witness and called to bless other people it gave me a sense of belonging as I studied for the ministry.  That CALL IS FOR YOU TO BELONG TO HIM and to what He has called you to be for Him. See the It is a CALL to RECEIVE HIS LOVE; a CALL to BELONG; a CALL to BLESS; and a CALL to BE SENT!  Luke 14:23, “Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled” (NKJV). Everyone is called to be a witness!  Are you seizing your time or is the world seizing your time? What does it mean to “seize your time and meet the moment?”                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Pastor Richard says that he wants to hear more testimonies.  If you have something to say, say it! Make him happy! 😊 God looks down and sees us in unity because, “the joy of the Lord is our strength.”  The Church that Jesus is building will never close its doors because His presence will be resident.

Is this or is it not your time? 44 years ago, God took me into the ministry and that included a church in Sackville and also that He was sending me to Spryfield to a church there that had many problems.

This is your time and in your place.   “Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching” (Hebrews 10:25).  We are people of potential.  We must align ourselves with the Word of God.  God placed you here, right now for an eternal purpose. Your place is measured by your potential. You belong to Him!  We will meet the moment because He says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you!” (Hebrews 13:5) His Church is forever and ever!   We haven’t arrived but we are on our way!  Don’t waste your life!  The call is for you… to BELONG, to BE EVERYTHING GOD CALLED YOU TO BE, to BE BLESSED, to BE SENT!

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV)

People here in New Minas need to come to the Cross of Jesus Christ. So…“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall [a]direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5,6)
